How did I know this was you? The moment i saw "Pixie Trixie" in the newest of critique requesting work, I thought Bawesome-Bacon. Low and behold, i was right. You've indeed made a name for yourself.
First off, I want to suggest investing in a higher quality camera. While you work is impressive, the photograph quality is taking away from your art. Makes it rather difficult to see the details, and the image is quite blurry. Not everyone has the money to buy a high quality camera, but its definitely something to think about when you get a chance.
Like most of the work i see from you, you have a knack for making some great food puns. And Pixie Trixie is no exception. The details are superb, and Its nice to see you improve with every new piece. You also have a lovely style, that is quite unique. No-one quite makes ponies the way you do. My only critique in originality would be to step out of your boundaries and try some interesting and eye catching posses.
The lines are still a bit shaky, but i know drawing with food is quite hard. And Anybody who plays with food should know that. I love the textures though, and you make great use of them. Another thing that would be interesting for you to try is to make 3D food art. The 2D is pleasing, and interesting, but it would take your work to the next level to try sculpting food. For example, a Rice Crispy Pony sculpture decorated with your daring frosting skills. Although thats simply a suggestion.
Overall, I find your work eye catching, and often enough literally candy. XD Its a refreshing twist to the monotonous pony art i normally see.
Oooohhhh! I love how you did her cape and hat! But I think the front legs and back legs are a little too close to eachother. But other than that I love it. Not just because I love candy, jelly etc. Haha. It's awesome, I love it, I love the MLP FiM food art you do so much. Ahh, if only you could make these in one second, lol. This, the Pixie Trixie created by BAwesome-BAcon, is, Pure Awesome. Because: I'm a TERRIFFIC cook, but when it comes to art with icing, crushed candy, etc. I would get an F.
